Mike Resnick

Mike Resnick has been writing science fiction for over twenty years. He first gained recognition for his fan writings on Edgar Rice Burroughs. His love for Africa has taken him there on a number of occasions and has been the inspiration for several novels and a host of short stories, including the Hugo-award winning story "Kirinyaga", the first installment in the Kikuyu space colony saga. He is a member of the Cincinnati Fantasy Group. He and his wife Carol are avid dog-lovers. Together they owned and operated the second-largest boarding kennel in the United States. He is currently finishing work on a new trilogy, Soothsayer, Orack and Prophet to be published by Berkley/Ace.
