A book review by Elisabeth Carey

The is the sequel to The Praxis, and previous warnings about the outsize presence of the silly series title, "Dread Empire's Fall," and the tininess of the actual book title, apply here also. Fortunately, the book is just as much worth the extra effort of finding. Gareth Martinez and Caroline Sula continue their separate, occasionally intersecting, paths against the Naxids and through an imperial navy that hasn't experienced the inconveniences of actual warfare for some tens of thousands of years. It's almost a shame to say more than that; you'll have a lot more fun if you just go read the book. This is the best space opera in years.
