Robert Bloch
From the book's blurb:
Robert Bloch was born on April 5, 1917. He wrote his first fan letter to H. P. Lovecraft in 1932 and his fantasy began appearing in Weird Tales in 1934. Since then he has written hundreds of stories, screenplays (for radio, films, and TV), and articles. His most famous short story, "Yours Truly, Jack the Ripper," is one of the classic fantasy stories. He won the Hugo for "That Hell Bound Train." He is also, of course, the author of Psycho. In addition to his professional writing, he has produced a staggering amount of material for the fan press and has attended numerous conventions. Rumor (and the article "I Was a Teen Age Faust") has it that he sold his soul to become a perpetual fan. He was Guest of Honor at both of the World Science Fiction Conventions that were held in Toronto (1948 and 1973) and will undoubtedly be GoH again when the next Torcon comes along in 1998.
Bob Eggleton:
Out of My Head was one of the first publications of multiple Hugo-award-winning SF and fantasy artist Bob Eggleton, who was Official Artist of Boskone 23.
