Major Ingredients is a collection of 30 of Russell's best pieces of short fiction, most of which have not been in print for years. Russell was one of the few British SF authors who was a mainstay of John W. Campbell's magazine Astounding. The book contains introductions by Jack L. Chalker and editor Rick Katze, plus an afterword by Mike Resnick.
This book had previously had the working title Into Your Tent I'll Creep.
Five Russell novels (and two more stories) have been collected into NESFA Press' companion volume, Entities.
