By the 'T'—There are three reasonably close subway stops: Hynes/ICA on the B, C and D branches of the Green Line, Prudential Center on the E branch of the Green Line, and Back Bay on the Orange Line. Which stop is best for you probably depends on where you are coming from and whether you mind walking outdoors. Hynes/ ICA involves a slightly longer walk outside but has more frequent service and better connections.

From Hynes/ICA T station to the Sheraton-Boston:
- Go upstairs, through the turnstiles, up more stairs, and through the doors; this is Massachusetts Ave. (the middle of a block — there aren't any street signs, but the signs inside say "to Massachusetts Ave.")
- Turn left from the doors; the first light is Boylston St.
- Turn left on Boylston St. (The hotel will become visible over/behind the Hynes Auditorium, ahead on the right.) The first light is Dalton St. (on your right only; on the left is Hereford).
- Cross Boylston and Dalton, or continue on Boylston (past the fire station) until you can cross to the far side of Dalton.
- Go downhill on Dalton St; cross the entrance to hotel parking and turn into the hotel driveway.
- Go in any door. Hotel registration is ahead, across the lobby; the escalator on the left goes up to convention space.
- At the top of the escalator, turn right. Information is across the near lobby in front of you; Registration (in Republic Foyer) is part way down the hall past the side of Information, on the right.
From Prudential T station to the Sheraton-Boston:
- Come upstairs, and turn
- left if you were outbound
- right if you were inbound
- Pass the closed fare booth; turn left, and left again to go up the stairs/escalator. From here you have two choices:
- Outside:
- The door on the left lets onto Huntington Ave.
- Turn right on Huntington; the light a few steps away is Belvidere.
- Turn right on Belvidere. (From here you can see the Sheraton.)
- Follow Belvidere to the Sheraton driveway, just before Dalton St.
- Go in any door. Hotel registration is ahead, across the lobby; the escalator on the left goes up to convention space.
- At the top of the escalator, turn right. Information is across the near lobby in front of you; Registration (in Independence) is part way down the hall past the side of Information, on the right.
- Inside:
- The door ahead and to the right goes into the Prudential Mall.
- Inside this door, turn left and go up the stairs/escalator.
- Follow this hall ("Huntington Arcade") until you hit a wall. (The mall has an information desk on your left just before this point.)
- Turn left under the "Prudential Arcade" sign (red with gold letters).
- Go past the Prudential Tower elevator lobby
- When you come out of the arcade (where another overhead sign points to the Sheraton) into an open space, bear right.
- Go past the Hynes Auditorium entrance (on the right), and the hotel entrance is straight ahead.
- Boskone Registration is in Independence, on the left partway down the hall. For hotel registration, go to the end of the corridor, down the escalator ahead on the left, and bear left.
- Outside:
These are about the same distance to the convention (and about the same difficulty — the mall has maps everywhere).
