Michael Walsh has been a member of WSFA since 1969 and has been attending conventions since then. Along the way he chaired a few conventions, started WSFA Press, has his own press (winner of a World Fantasy Award), held a number of offices in WSFA, and according to Diane Duane was the Captain of a starship.
