Michael Swanwick has received the Nebula, Theodore Sturgeon, World Fantasy and Hugo Awards, and has the odd distinction of having been nominated for and lost more of these same awards than any other human being. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife, Marianne Porter. Swanwick’s most recent novel is Dancing with Bears, a post-Utopian adventure featuring confidence artists Darger and Surplus. He received his first Hugo Award at a Boskone. Michael was the Guest of Honor at Boskone 37 (2000).
