Steve Miller is a lapsed reporter, publisher, con-running fan, and science fiction librarian who writes SF professionally, mostly in the Liaden Universe® shared with Sharon Lee. He survived Clarion West in 1973 and has participated in SF conventions across North America. Necessity's Child is the most recent of 21 novels.
